Sutton Hill residents are getting involved with helping to improve their local area as part of a longer-running Sutton Hill Litter Pick project.
Back in March, the first group of volunteers did their bit to tidy up areas around Sutton Hill, organised by The Hub on the Hill, and supported by the Telford & Wrekin Council Councillors’ Pride Fund 2021, for which we were kindly nominated by Cllr Derek White.
The volunteers collected approx 20kg of litter in just over an hour! Thank you to everyone who came along - some were a bit camera shy!
The next Sutton Hill Litter Pick will take place on Friday 22nd April - why no join us and make an impactful difference to where you live?
All equipment and PPE will be provided, thanks to the grant funding received from the Councillors’ Pride Fund 2021, as well as free refreshments for all volunteers!
